I had the most fun with this one & especially with a girl:
for all the 13 year birthdays each of the kids got 13 presents.(this would work with a 16th birthday too)
12 small presents – jewelry, journal, socks, book, frame, candle, etc. then the 13th present was the “big” one – whatever is on their wish list, within reason. For Jenna, it was a boom box.
